Two of Coventry, Millwall, Sunderland, Blackburn and West Brom will take fifth and sixth place in the league, thus securing a spot in the Championship play-offs and a chance at reaching the Premier League.
Burnley and Sheffield United are already promoted, while Luton and Middlesbrough are guaranteed to finish in third and fourth place respectively.
The play-off race has been full of twists and turns in recent weeks, to the point where it will go down to the final set of fixtures on the 8th of May.
Blackburn looked to be shoe-ins for a place in the top six, but have failed to win any of the last eight matches - including conceding in added time to Coventry's goalkeeper and scoring an own goal in the 94th minute against Preston (both 1-1 draws).
Their final game of the season is against Millwall, who currently sit sixth; above them by just two points.
Sunderland were out of the race last Saturday until a 95th-minute Partick Roberts equaliser kept their hopes alive in a 2-2 draw against Watford.

Coventry
Coventry have the easiest route to the play-offs.
The Sky Blues go into the final day in fifth and are in action against Middlesbrough (fourth).
All they need to do is avoid defeat and their spot in the top six will be confirmed.
Millwall
The London club currently occupy sixth spot and face fellow hopefuls Blackburn on the final day.
If they win, they will be guaranteed a top-six finish and won't have to worry about results elsewhere.
A draw could be enough if both West Brom and Sunderland fail to win their games.
Sunderland
The Black Cats have done well to even be in with a shout of the play-offs after finishing fifth in League One just last season - but what was once just a faint hope is now a serious possibility.
Should they win their game against Preston, they need Millwall to drop points against Blackburn in order to finish sixth - even a draw will be enough thanks to their much-superior goal difference.
If Coventry lose against Middlesbrough and Sunderland win their match, they will go fifth on goals scored.
Failure to win will see Tony Mowbray's side remain in the second tier for another season.
West Brom
The Baggies find themselves in a similar situation to Sunderland, needing a win in their game against Swansea and for Millwall to drop points against Blackburn.
Coventry's result might also have an impact on their final position - if they are beaten by Middlesbrough and West Brom win, they will go above them on goal difference.
If Sunderland win, the Baggies will need to hope Coventry and Millwall lose (and win themselves).
Blackburn
Despite their poor run of form, Blackburn are still involved in the promotion race.
They have to win their match against Millwall and hope that Sunderland drop points against Preston.
On top of that, they need West Brom to drop points against Swansea.
Even if Coventry lose, their goal difference is far better than Blackburn's - squashing any hopes of catching them.
